Had a day out  with this one . Travelled to Khapoli for a test run with this phone. With  music
playing the whole daY and  gprs always on . travel was fun ad i could track my location on google
maps, which came preinstalled. Besides google phone has yahoo suit with search and finance option.
With built in spice suite tracking phone is becomes very easy . And protecting your data with
password makes your life secure with spice data protection suit.
even surfing net was fast though the phone was on roming and viewing videos on vuclip and youtube
wAs fun as streaming on 56kbps data was fast. it was fun to use 3.2 meg pix camera as images were
chrisp and clear. Net over wify was fast as it supports  wify b/g/n. Checking  My emails on the go
made me feel as if i am using a blackberry, as phone supports 10 email accounts . Screen was
bright and easy to read in bright sun light . supports various music formats wav amr acc wma mp3.
Playes 3gp n mp4 videos.recorded videos of beautyfull mountains arround in 640x480 @30 fps. The
phone has no flash but even in night mode images were good and videos were clear.
call clearity of the phone is above average in roming ,again it depends on signal strenth inthat
area. radio with rds and recording was a welcome feature.. phone supports 2 mem cards of upto 16gb each with processer speed of 256 mhz.
whith the above and host of other features it makes the phon  a must have devide for all new phone buyers.

Wake up to a bright morning with samsungs newly released and much awated ch@t 5270s. phone rocks as goes a step ahead of others with  better reablity on display in bright sun light...egronomically shaped keypad and well placed keys for your fingers give it better scores over other brands in the market...trackpad very responsive and comfertable.
old has gone and new has come funkey and loud ringtones can add ur own tones like nokias. auto focas camea with better picture click support.
reception of the phone is strong and battery life is good..
workes on 3.5g wify and gprs.
well spaced keyboard makes it easy to type..keyboard shortcuts are wow apps open in giffy..
sound quality on speaker and headpho nes was awsone with 51. surround and dnse..simply love my music now as can feel the beats as they wer created to be felt.
better option than nokia phones.. trust me anyday trust worthy..
recently exchanged my c3 from nokia for this one and it rocks..

Tested on my laptop and my mobile w2ith following music :-

1)  jis jagha.mp3 (players)
2) jis jagha remix.mp3 (players)

Felt as if it is playing on 2.1 channel system.. bas output was like 1 found in 2.1 channels n  trebel added to the punch .. on loud volumes there was no noise distorsion and even on low volumes it performed  quite well.

you will have to shellout rs 80 to 250 for a pair to feel the puncch n 2.1 channel effect...

light wait n ideal to use work with any phone that has a 3.5mm audio port as comes with 3.5  mm pin...

Recently in our office  one of our coligue came to me stating that shw wanted her gmail and yahoo mail configured on her new cell phone as it dept denied configration to her. I agreed to do it and she pulled out her new alcatel ICE 3 series OT-802Y  looked cool and well built with blackberry. it was designed for tata docomo. She was gifted that by her hubisdand on her birthday on 03/01/2011. Duild quality was sturdy and jeyboard felt as if i am using a black berry.  expandable to 8gb and mp3 and fm with 2.4 inch screen charging  via mini usb. powered by yahoo costing inr 4000.  email config was an easy task and went well battery lasrs for neqrly 2 days with 1 hr of net and email a day othervise 1 1/2 if e-mail and music on.

Today I had a chance to lay my hands on Alcatels Recently released 806 D. Phone features physical well spaced QWERTY key pad and a touch screen above it. Comfert and ease of use for any finger type makes this phone a great buy. unlike motorola ex 119 which has keys stuck to gether  806 d has well spaced keyboard ideal for sms, mms , surfing , chatting and e-mailing. Os licenced by IBM makes this phone a killer device whth features  like one touch e-mail with attachment viewer featuring word excel powerpoint and pdf.
For corpotates it features integrated  microsoft exchange  support, pop3 , IMAP and powerful organiser with upto 5 people call confrencing Just the way they want. Unified inbox for MMS and SMS with storage capasity of 700 sms's. Powered with MMS v1.2 makes  task a whole lot simpler for newbees. In the era where BBM and FB are status symble the phone packs SNS, Facebook, Twitter and multi IM Client. Phone book is revamped with kinetick scroling with massive storage of 1000 entries. phone also features  calculator, converter, voice recorder, multi alarm settings , vcard and  callander shairing. now u can send group sms to 10 people or pre define sms upto 10 items and reject a call with sms.With quad band reception is fabalus but in basement it might put u a little down. For net access it  featres Edge class 12 ,GPRS class 12/ WAP 2.0 and Wi-Fi with opera mini 5.

Biggest speciality of this phone is it can be used as a modem and a web cam (640x480). Also supports audio and video streaming (youtube here we come) with 2 MPX camera  and video (640x480) @ 25 fps.
screen size is ideal to watch video's with Video codec support for H.263/MPEG4 makes this my portable video player on the go.  Audio quality is awsome , player interface is good and easy to use  and supports playback for   MP3 AAC/AAC+/WMA  and WAV with  3.5 mm jack on top.  For radio lovers phone features FM Radio With RDS with easy to use interface  reception packs a punch.

Also has : Embedded images and animations, themes, Image editor & slide show ,Main menu scroll matrix, end user customizable with customisable function keys makes it ideal for any cell phone buyer.

How I tested  it : 12/23/2011 Got up at 6:00 am and put the phone for charge after unpacking. 9:00 am fully charged and ready to use, 9:05am inserted my sim and micro sd card. 09:07 am turned on and all set to go with vodafone and mtnl displaying on my screen. 09:10am received my first sms for meeting with client at 11:30 am tagged it to my callander app as an appointment. 9:25 am feaded my todo list  and left home. 10:38 am reached office and  parked my car at the basement of my office 4 bars on vodaphone and 3 bars on mtnl ticking and alive . in the lift 10:40 am received call while going to 11the  floor wife wanted some groceries at the end of the day  call clearity is awsome. 10:43am out of lift  and went to my it team to config exchange client 10:47 am 1st email of the day with 2 presentation attachments  had a view and now all set to go foor meeting.. 11:20 am at basement  Level 2 of client office phone network still ticking . while parking the car got a call from boss call clearity still rocks with no disturbance.. finished presentation by 1:30 pm and now time for lunch in style.. opened opera and downoaded google maps and used to r\\search a resturant for me i n powai .. volA we got meluha the fern .. great ambience and wonderful food. chated with friends on im and back to work.. evenly spaced keyboard made my browsing and e-mailing experince forget my laptop .. with wifii i remained connected i my office in every nook and corner... back to gprs adtime to leave but speed was great with both voda and mtnl.. this phone rocks .. connected t to my music system with 3.5mm jack and lo and behold audio rocks my music sounded like i was inside it.. played mario aw man battery stil rocks and with music play back of  2 days and emails battery mein 1 bar baki hai.

Design : 09/10 as has no usb coverig.
Screen : 10/10 readable in briggt sunlight.
music& fm : 10/10
ease of use  : 10/10
screen: 09/10  sometimes not so responsive.
battery : 10/10 1 bar baaki hai.
keyboard : 10/10 suits all fine.
